[RC] FEI vs CEi - k s swigart

Adam Falk said:

I am going to show my ignorance here, but I was not able to
explain the difference between FEI and CEI when I was asked
by someone. Could I get some help?

The FEI is the organization that runs international horse sporting
events in the disciplines of dressage, show jumping, endurance,
eventing, driving, vaulting, and reining.

A CEI is an FEI sanctioned endurance ride.

A CDI is an FEI sanctioned dressage show, a CCI (and a CIC) is an FEI
sanctioned three day event, a CSI is an FEI sanctioned show jumping
event. I don't know what the letters are for the other disciplines.
But all of these events will be qualified by a number of stars after
them depending on the level of difficulty.
