Aha, so in the riding contest between Bruce and Kat , Bruce should be dead and Kat should be doing the Macarena up there. Of course, Bruce will only be dead in the Schrödinger's cat sense—both dead and alive. Then at the finish we collapse the wave function in his favor. -- Beverley

Same amount of weight, but that pig in a sack is creating forces in all kinds of directions that you have to compensate for (extra work) to keep your balance, even more work.
