[RC] Commuting--The Amish Way - Bruce Weary

I can just see Jody now--commandeering her horse and buggy, wearing her helmet and racing goggles, saying " Let's see, I think I-40 is the best way over to Albuquerque.....And to her horse she barks: "Let's spank it up a notch, Trixie! We're gonna need a good rolling canter for the on ramp if we're gonna merge safely with that damn rush hour traffic." Just because your horse has done 100 miles at 7 mph, doesn't mean she can do 10 miles at 70 mph. I really advise against this. You might spill your Starbuck's. Dr Q, world renowned equine commuter P.S. Jody, if you want to do the Amish thing the whole way, you'll be glad to know they have finally succumbed a little to new technology. They actually use cell phones now. They're even homemade. Lets' see, you'll need two orange juice cans, and one hell of a big ball of string..................you know, for international calls and such.
