[RC] can beet pulp cause tying-up? - Heidi Vanderbilt

A friend rode her well-conditioned horse on an easy, slow ride-- mostly walking, a little trotting. About 5 miles into it, her mare tied up. The only thing my friend could think of that she'd done differently was to feed a half pound of beet pulp before.

I have no experience with this, but I thought someone out in Ridecampland might know.

Please reply to ridecamp, not me.

thanks!

heidi
