[RC] Official USEF announcement - rides2farThe United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) announced that Valerie Kanavy of Fort Valley, VA,> Kanavy takes over for Tom Johnson I don't know Tom Johnson, or anything about why they'd replace him etc, but if they were determined to replace him, it's honestly a relief to see it's Valarie who'll take the position and not some person who has more pull than experience. If I had to have someone give me advice on how to compete in that level of competition, I can't imagine anyone who's advice I'd take more seriously. There are some people who if they tried to tell me how to pace I'd simply think "I know this horse better than you do" and ignore them. However, I have no doubt that Val could beat me even if she was riding my horse and I was riding hers. That's some coaching I'd love to get.
