Folks using the camelbak back packs need to remember that they were first developed for bike riders who adopt a more forward posture over their handle bars. This allowed the weight of the water to rest on their backs rather than hang from their shoulders.

Camelbak has made a waist pack with the same bladder & sip tube (and still does, I think). So do their competitiors. Look for one with compression straps that keep it up off the cantle of your saddle - especially if you're short-waisted like me.

I love the waist system - I can drink while cantering & not choke. Drinking from a water bottle was NOT a pretty sight!
