Re: [RC] LQ horse trailer - Laney HumphreyHere are a couple of other suggestions:1. get to your next ride early enough to walk around ridecamp & look at trailers. Most people, when they're not busy, are more than glad to show off their rig and explain what they like & dislike & what they'd do different. 2. go to a horse expo or similar event with a trade show where lots of trailers will be on display and go through them all. It's the best way of seeing what features are available and comparing one trailer to another. Laney Kathy Ramspott wrote: Has anyone ever heard of renting or leasing a horse trailer with LQ? I know everyone has different preferences so it doesn't really do any good to ask what folks look for in a trailer but if you've only had a 2 horse bumper pull and want to dive in and get a trailer with LQ how did you all decide what your preferences are without trying them out first? For example, I'd love a trailer with a shower but they are so much more expensive, then I read about a "cowboy shower" and have no idea what it is or if it would be what I am wanting. Or mid tack versus back tack area, I'm not sure what I would like better. Anyone in the SE willing to rent/lease a truck and trailer for a week or two? :-) =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
