Re: [RC] T-Shirts & Ride Management - rides2far@xxxxxxxxWhile I haven't run a ride in quite a while - and whining because of shirt size was a contributor to that - I can tell you the Tee shirt issue is one that takes an inordinate amount of time. I've managed a bunch of rides and don't feel that every time someone mentions anything they think could be done differently in a ride to improve it that it's an attack on the holiest of holy. If someone happens to mention on here that a 12 year old kid rode 22 hours and got a shirt the size of a tent... and that could have been improved upon, *maybe* I, as a ride manager, might be more aware of that in the future and notice that tough little munchkin headed out at 2 AM while the grownups with all the excuses are kicking back with their beers...and *maybe* I'll think to set aside a small shirt for her. Angie (plotting to have only one XXS shirt left for Truman the next time I manage a ride. >eg<) =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
