[RC] drooling horse - Tara M Sheppard

I had a pony once that used to drool when he ate. Had the vet come out
and he had choke. 
It happened only in the springtime when the green grass was present. It
would also come out of his nose(green grass)
Also, could maybe be that the horse is eating something with thorns or
thistles that may be getting stuck in the teeth or gums?
Believe it or not, my really picky eaters are eating the thistle weeds
out in the pasture!
