I have a pair for my horse's front feet when I go to Tennessee for a few days to ride. The work great. As far as the shoeing - I didn't have to change anything about it. All you need is about ¼ an inch to snap under the lip. Once those suckers are on they stay. Truman Kathleen A. I was thinking of trying Bosana boots and wondered how they hold up and if you had to leave a lot of shoe hanging out the back. He tends to pull shoes in the pasture.
