I dont know if anyone still holds moonlight rides anymore..I remember in the 
early 90's there were a few.  However, I had the most magical moonlight ride 
with Potato, Cathy, Chris and I.  The ride was a surprise from Chris and 
Potato. It was in March and Potato said it was "blue moon" I think... Well 
Cathy and Potato were on their Tevis horses and I borrowed "chocolate" the 
horse that Judy Carnazzo rode and took 3rd or 4th at Tevis and Chris rode Buddy 
his champion ride and tie horse.. we went down the "Cuz Trail (Cathy's cousin 
Steve cut this trail), over to China Wall and some other places.. well Cathy 
and I were talking up a storm and Potato said "shhh just listen and take in the 
trees" and it was pure magic! The trees were silhoutted beams of moonlight. All 
you could hear was the creek down below and the soft shuffling of our horses 
hooves in the leaves..I had to close my eyes and trust Chocolate do the work 
because I couldnt see the trail as we dipped in and out shadows. Can anyone 
relate another magical ride with their horse? Please post if you have one :) 
I'd love to gather stories from all of you :)
