[RC] Dixie midnight/quilt cotton pad - Ridecamp Guest

Anyone ever sewed them togeather?

I have a hard time keeping the saddle on top when mounting and have been doing 
ok using just my dixie under my wintec.  horse seems fine and happy with it.  
But, it does seem to get a little steamy under there and perhaps i should put a 
light cotton something in the middle.

Thoughts were i can sew a little quilted cotton pad to the dixie and with 
either billit straps or 'flap pocket' will keep everything in place.

when i tried a regular pad over the dixie i ended up with some 'bunching' over 
the loin.

i may be riding longer, hoter rides this summer is why i'm asking.
