Ignore them and have children if and when YOU want to have them. Before you do get pregnant, make sure your husband both wants a family, and is willing to do his FAIR SHARE of raising the kids. Mary Jo, the mother of my children, worked nights when they were small. That meant I had complete responsibility between the time I came home and the next morning. I later set it up so I had Friday's off for many years. That meant that she could work Friday and Saturday while I watched the kids. Sometimes she was not happy to come home and find that the boys were playing in a manure pile, while I did barn things, but did agree that soap and water afterwards fixed things up fine. If one is going to have a family, and not turn the wife into a slave, everyone must pitch in. Marriages between horsey and non-horsey people can work fine like Mary Jo and me, but it is much nicer when both partners are addicted like Wendy and I.
