Endurance.Net Ridecamp Archives

I know many endurance riders like the Equissential riding tights. I'm 
thinking about getting a pair, but it is a lot more money than I normally 
spend. However, I ride in an English saddle and always use halfchaps or I 
get banged up. Unfortunately, I had a problem last summer getting a heat 
rash on my legs (on a number of occasions), and I think I need to find a 
more breathable alternative to the tights and half chaps. I also love the 
look of these, and think they would be more comfortable if I got out of the 
saddle and walked/ran with my horse than if I had on half chaps.

For those of you using these, are they really worth the price? How are they 
to wash, and how long do they hold up?
