RE: [RC] New game.... - Kristene Smuts

Not crazy balls to the walls, .......... eliminate the " hard days
with the need for rest to recuperate" and instead maximize our short
pre-season time to get fit. I would appreciate any thoughts - pro and
con. Thanks. Roxanne>>

Roxanne, I board in an area that has a maximum of 5km (a full *3*
miles!) of road riding, IF you use your imagination to the max ;-)) I
got my stallion fit for his first season of LD by *walking* the area
available to us - and then I'm talking a walk that knocks the pants off
any comers ;-)) The area is sufficient to maintain the base he has on
him now, but I also box out to ride distance over weekends. Even with
the walking, you need at least two consecutive days off for the tissues
to heal. FWIW.
