[RC] An Endurance riders Christmas Gift - Dream Weaver

I got a really cool gift for Christmas :). This might interest anybody else who is vertically challenged, or else has a tall horse: http://www.ezupstirrup.com/ Tho it's hard to tell from the website, they also have them in 2" widths, which fit my biothane leathers (that always sounds funny to me, biothane leathers??) perfectly. I was able to try it out on a ride this weekend and it worked great. On one side you only need to push a button to get the stirrup to drop 3 inches, then it lifts right back up into place with your toe once you are on. It also comes with a swivel for the other side, so that both stirrups can swivel. Which is really great for my knees, I sure hate to fight with getting the stirrup turned. Looking forward to using this at Death Valley, now I won't be able to complain about my youngest horse being too tall! I told Bill, who owns the company that makes these things that they should go to the AERC convention in San Antonio. I can see these being very popular with endurance riders. I sure like mine so far.

I just put up Jackie Floyd's calendar, and for January it has a photo of Darwin, which is great. Will hopefully be riding thru there on New Years Eve! I also got one of her bumper stickers, will have to find a spot to put that on the trailer for sure! http://www.enduranceguide.com/order.html
