Also, I have heard that a face full
of skunk spray (from the real source) can blind a dog or maybe worse. We
lost a year-old pup once, and the only clue indicated that he had been
out gadding around with my mother-in-law's dog. Her dog came home
reeking of skunk...ours never did come home. That was over 51 years
ago. I can understand how people feel when their children go
missing and are never heard from again.
I would have loved to spray the rider, but with my luck the kid would
have had an allergic reaction and gone into convulsions and I would be in
trouble. However, I am allowed to spray whatever I want on my horse's
rear and tail.........(I'm going to get some of that skunk scent !)
