[RC] [RC] Shoe Size - Dream Weaver

Shoe sizes can vary by brand, kind of like womens clothing does. In one brand of shoe, a 1 would be an 0 in another brand, or a 2 in another. Especially with some of the non metal shoes, they are definitely not all sized the same.

One of the questions I asked on the Decade Interviews was what size easyboot, as that tends to go more by actual size of the hoof. I knew if I asked for actual measurements I probably wouldn't get them ;).

Most endurance horses take a 1 in an easyboot, or 0. Not very many take size 2. It's weird, Weaver always takes 2's on the fronts, and Chief did when he was shod. Now barefoot he can fit a 1 in the new style boot, a 2 does fit and stays on but the 1's are a snugger fit. The width between the two horses front feet is really close - I think between 5 1/4" to 5 1/2".
