RE: [RC] Shoe Size - heidi

So, can ya'll tell me what your horse's shoe size is?


Kaboot wears a size 2 easyboot...and he's just 14.2. I believe his St. Croixs 
were 1 though. His feet are really round. I think there's a lot to be said 
for the muley feet though. I've seen several Arabs with the muley upright 
little feet that do great...Ben Amil (Josie's mount) was one of those.


Junior, at 14.2+ and 975 lbs, wore size 1 in front, and 0 behind.  His
sire likewise wore the same size, despite being a tad smaller.  Most of
the horses we are riding currently wear 0s all around.

When I dealt with halter APHAs and QHs, a good number of them wore 00s
all around and some wore 00s in front and 000s behind, despite being
several hundred pounds heavier than our Arabs...
