[RC] beet pulp etc - Dede Johnson

It seems to me, that it's a rule in life that there always exceptions to what is viewed as the norm or the preferred method of doing things. Murphys' Law, while obviously not scientific, rears its head quite often. We can all say that beet pulp is terrific and no way could it cause harm, but if a horse had issues with it, the owner is likely to be wary of it. Similarly, if I had a horse that had a reaction to a vaccine, I'd be wary of it. If my horse went crazy after eating something with molasses in it, I'd be cautious in feeding that particular horse that particular feed. What works for most people (or horses), may not work for a small minority, and the minority may become sensitive, wary, or cautious about it, despite, what the majority says works or is found to be true. There's always an exception............sometimes there are freak events which can't be explained.
