[RC] tendonitus in the rider - rides2far@xxxxxxxx

So what exactly is tendonitus? My 15 year old daughter (Josie so this is
endurance related >g<) is having lots of pain in her elbow after volleyball
season and now shooting 3's in basketball is painful for her. The coaches keep
working her steady and she's in pain. I'm wondering whether to put my foot down
and rest her (if I do she'll probably lose her position but that's better than
losing her mobility!) Honestly, these coaches couldn't keep a horse going
through one season of endurance. Time off is something that just doesn't
happen. By the way, she's suffering from shin splints too. I think maybe she
needs to retire to...um...just riding! :-)
