RE: [RC] winning - bobmorris

Mike:

Please let me explain one simple thing, the AERC does not,
and has not ever attempted to, field a team to compete at
the world level. The team that is in the UAE is in no way
representing the AERC. Yes, they are AERC members and
membership in the AERC is a requirement for participation.
But, the riders are fielded by the United States Equestrian
Federation, not the AERC.

I do not think AERC can field a team that can compete on the
world level. AERC does not need to try and field a team to
represent the United States. Let the FEI handle this. When
you think losing is winning you will never have a team
worthy of representing our country as winners. The WEC is
not the Tevis or the Old Dominion or the Leatherwood Extreme
Challenge. The WEC has the best horses from all over the
world and if the AERC philosophy of losing is winning then
how in the heck can anyone expect our team to represent this
great country with pride. Bring it on. Mike
