I beg to differ....when AERC "blesses" the participation of AERC members in
FEI, goes to extraordinary measures (offering loans to Ride Managers) to
"qualify" them, (including "contamination" of our National Championship
Ride", then the team is "representing" AERC.  To believe otherwise, to use
Kat's term, is "bullshit". A skunk by any other name still smells to high
heaven.  Just MHO.

Please let me explain one simple thing, the AERC does not,
and has not ever attempted to, field a team to compete at
the world level. The team that is in the UAE is in no way
representing the AERC. Yes, they are AERC members and
membership in the AERC is a requirement for participation.
But, the riders are fielded by the United States Equestrian
Federation, not the AERC.
