I have a 15.2 hh walking mare and when I
first started endurance I rode with a woman who had a 15 or so hand arab. She
said we paced together better then anyone. My mare did a fast walk and her
arab was doing a working trot. We kept together perfectly. Just a different
experience then what other people are saying so it may depend on the height and
stride more then the different breeds.

My wife is wanting to get a TWH to ride with me and my
Arab on 25 and 50 milers. Is the TWH a reasonable breed for
this ? Also would a 15 hand TWH ccool down more quicklly than a 16
hand TWH ? Thanks for your input.
