My wife's Arab has to canter to keep up with my Arab's trot. My Arab 
will walk /trot up when he is behind her's doing a trot. When I was 
riding the mare (Walker) and she was riding the Arab I'm now riding - 
they would move together fairly nicely. They were perfectly paced but it 
was close enough to work. It's very seldom that you find a matched pair 
of any breed that can move comfortably together all the time.
