Loaded my new 2 year old Appy gelding into the trailer this morning at 6:30 am and drove from Blythe, CA to the top of the Grapevine without stopping. I watered him there and let him rest about 15 minutes and back on the road. I stopped one more time at Westley and water him again. We pulled in here at our house at 5:30 pm and you wouldn't know he had been on the trailer for more than an hour. Thank you everyone for all of the GREAT tips on how to make the trip a success. IT WAS! I love this new horse and I sure think he is going to be a super boy!!!
