So, does this mean if you give probiotics and electrolytes at the same time, the salt kills the probiotics?  Or if they are mixed together, how long do you have before the probiotics die and not benefit your horse?

Unless bacteria have specifically resistant cell walls, salt osmotically
pulls the fluid out of them and kills them.
