[RC] Older Horses - newly gelded - Kari Hanes

We are looking at a 19 year old gelding for our daughter. The lady wants him to have a more active home because they don't have time for him anymore. With his show & pedigree background he is a very nice horse. Our only drawback is that he has been used as a stud and was just gelded last year. What are everyone's thoughts on this? I'm not worried about my daughter being able to handle him - she handles our studs all the time, but I'm still skeptical about his being "behaved" while riding with a group of horses.
