Had you considered looking into a ridding program for handicaped Children? I have donated 3 horses in the past for various reasons. They continue to have a job, that is very very light work and exceptional care. Every program is different with it's requirements of the horse coming in.

Just a thought

This has been awhile coming, think I"m up to it now...
Awhile back, Chihouli suffered his injury and I had a new horse coming, I do not have the time for 3 horses and it meant also that one got almost no time....and that would be Deno. Even at 20 he was not ready to be a pasture ornament...made a decicion to find him a special place...found the perfect place, a Mare buddy, and 5 acres of grass, shelter and a new Mom almost good as me...from the moment I unloaded him there he knew this was a new home...ran around to show off and tell everyone he was there...made me feel a lot better...Do I miss him...you bet...but he is in a better place and still can do what he wants...gets pleasure ridden, and is teaching his new Mom how smart he is...lol...
Now I also need to find an even more special place for Chihouli...can only EVER be ridden lightly..he is only 7,...and he NEEDS something to do daily..also would be nice if he had a buddy...cannot be confined in a stall or too small area...doesn't know he is hurt, and needs some room to move around...is not for sale....is considered property of new owner until at which time situation changes for whatever reason...he comes back to me...no exceptions...no exceptions....
If anyone has an idea or a way to steer me I would appreciate it...have just about exhausted my leads here...
He is as well trained and mannered as Deno...my grandkids play with him...he loves kids...
New 3 yr old arrives next week..lol...I am nuts...Bogart will be fun....
I could seriously use some help to find Chi a very special place to be....had him since he was a year and a half...haven't seen a mind this good in a long time...

I am located in Nevada..will only consider going within a 1000 miles

Thanks for listening...
