Hi Bruce
I took it for about a year at the same time I was taking horse MSM -- don't 
know which or whether both were helping my back yet there was some improvement. 
Then I was taking so many vitamins I got tired of pill popping AND it was not 
cheap! My Motrin bill is climbing these days, though, and I am afraid of what 
it may be doing to my kidneys. Started back on MSM as it is reportedly the only 
thing that will reverse the effects of Ibuprofen. Wondering whether I should 
give Cosequin another go as well.
The only side effects seemed to be the mare PMS syndrome, which I am sure I 
never had prior to that ;-)
