I have a morab mare.  Two weeks ago, I let her out of her stall and both hind 
legs were swollen.  within 30 min the swelling was down.  It's been an off 
again/on again for the past couple of weeks.  I called my vet to see if he 
thought he needed to come out, temp between 99.2 to as high (last night) 100.3. 
He felt he didn't need to come out yet, because there really isn't anything 
for him to do other than blood work.  She's not lame, she's 
eating/drinking/peeing/pooping, everything seems normal.  other than, when I 
put her in her stall with in a hour or so, she is "stocking up" again.  I have 
owned her since May and she's been just fine....Gorgeous legs.  My question is: 
Could there be something on the trail, she's a snacker, that she could eat that 
would affect her this way?  She seems to swell mainly after I ride a certain 
trail, and am wondering if it could be a plant that she is particularly fond 
of.  Not sure where to go with this....Any suggestions?
