People are mixing some of these descriptions - a multi day is anything over a one day ride. We have a lot of 2 day multi days in the CT region.

A ride a minimum of 155 miles [usually 3 days] is a pioneer ride - which is what the 5 day rides are as well.

2)It's true that they tend to be in fairly remote places but for the extra drive time (& fuel), I get 5 days of riding instead of only one.
