[RC] politics, dog ticks, and every other kind of ticks.... - Steph Teeter

Let's try to get back on Endurance topics for a while. (put the dogs, goats
and politics on the shelf for a bit, por favor)

We had a good ride (Owyhee High Country)- hot and dry, but fun. Only a few
pulls the entire weekend, a nice relaxed group of riders and some fairly
challenging trails. It was a grind to do this three-day the weekend after
the FEI ride, but it reminded me why we like to host rides (for fun). The
FEI ride was stressful and tense for us (managers)... but we'll host another
one next year, scheduled for May 20. If we do another summer ride, it will
be a moonlight ride - it was really too hot this year, pretty hard on both
horses and riders.

I do much prefer the multidays though!

Steph
