He just misses his "cocky little $%^&" of a roomate!!

(But you can't have him back...!)

On the topic of hay though, how much can you store? We get a really nice grass/alfalfa mix from a local broker..
I will be traveling to NV this summer for Timothy as well..Have you called Singing Springs? Dee Matlock gets some really nice mixtures from N.CA that I used to buy..Her prices are fair and she stands behind every bail..even delivers-used to be $25. to deliver and stack 2 ton..less than a visit to the chiropractor!

Subject: [RC] Feeding/riding issue

I have recently moved and due to the weather and lack of storage I have been forced to buy hay locally.  It is mostly and usually alfalfa.  I usually feed grassy alfalfa, oat or grass hay.  Anyway, I have not been riding much either.  When I do ride, my usually very controllable horse bucks anytime he can't get his way.  PS because of the cold I have also been giving him one scooper of Equine Senior 1 #.  Do you think it is a feeding issue.  He is in shape having completed 4800 miles of endurance to date mostly multi day rides.  Any thoughts?
