I had one out-of-region vet tell me that at one ride on my then 16 yo mare, 
at vet in. It never came up during the ride and no other ride vet ever 
mentioned it [or VERY experience PR person] in my region ever mentioned it. 
AND I had a pre-purchase done on her 4 months prior and my home vet [a DVM 
specialist] never said anything about it. I ignored it.
