==========================================

I went from Hayward to Bridgeport via Hwy 88 into Gardnerville
last year with a truck/camper and horse trailer. I think it took
about 6 hours to get to the camp. Sonora pass is definitely not
something to do in a horse trailer or anything large as it is
way too twisty and steep (beautiful drive though). I had to wait
behind a stuck tractor/trailer a couple of years ago when the
driver made the mistake of trying to go over the pass.

Tioga is pretty but I think 88 is shorter and easier from
the Bay Area.

See you there!
