I think you got all the responses too.   I just have one hard to read horse...we have tried all kinds of things to get her to relax.   So, the problem may not be to "bit or not to bit" but, "HOW TO GET HER TO RELAX".   Like I say, sometimes when I go back to square one, I actually find I need to go back farther.  
 
Maybe my question should be just that....how to get her to relax?... hmm. it is worth a try.. Any Suggestions?

These are great questions and I have been wondering the exact same thing. Would you please, if folks e-mail you privately, forward them to me? I know it is asking alot but I am really wondering if my guy wouldn't be Much happier in a bitless bridle and really need to research and would like to know what other folks say.
