Once she gets a
few bites she rubs and creates open sores. Any suggestions????

My friend's Morgan mare has terrible skin itchiness
from allergies. Her face, jaw, belly, & neck were usually raw & crusty
from about May thru December. Then she started eating all wood in site (my wood
as she stays at my place) so we put her on Quitt. She stopped chewing the
wood and also stopped rubbing herself raw. She did start up the rubbing just a
bit in the spring, so we added ground flax seed to her diet. She is again close
to itch free, and has no open rub sores on her, at least for now. We do also use
a fly mask day & night.
