I knew some people that had a horse that had a couple of very mild bloody
nose episodes. Then one day it bleed to death thru it's nose. Turned out the
horse had a fungal infection of the guttural pouch that eroded thru the carotid
artery. I don't mean to scare you to death, I'm sure this is very rare, but I
would have it checked out by a vet.
