[RC] What to do with horses during storms - winsumjo

I am a new 2 year resident of FL. Last year 2 hurricanes came right over us
as they exited the state to the gulf coast. My horses can come and go into
their stalls from the field, so I just left the gate open and let them
decide which they would prefer. During the heaviest downpour and wind they
were out in the field "eating". Once or twice I did catch them standing
head down with tail to the wind. I thought they would get excited and go
running around, none of that and this was their first experience with a
storm like that. Louise Josie and Winston
