[RC] rigging pressure - Help! - Ridecamp Guest

==========================================

My horse is shedding out with white patches that are indicating pressure from
the in-skirt D rings on my saddle. I've used an elasticized cinch for several
years and always make a point of keeping it quite loose. The saddle is cordura
and has soft, pliable skirts compared to a leather saddle. I use a closed cell,
memory foam pad and a dixie pad. I'm wondering about adding a strip of fairly
rigid plastic between the rings and the skirting. Does anyone have any other
suggestions that might help spread the rigging pressure?
