It's the religious fervor with which this topic is
discussed that can make it very hard to take. As in, if you can't or won't
do what the proponents say is necessary to be able to condition barefoot, than
you're just, somehow, not as good or caring or knowledgeable or conscientious a
horse owner.
If opinions were stated as opinions and not as
dogma, most of us would be happy to see this topic discussed as often as anyone
wants.
