Re: [RC] dying a wool pad - Nancy Sturm

I wonder if you could sew (or if you're like me - have someone else sew) a
slipcover for your pad made from purple fleece or purple flannel?

Then you could slip the cover off and wash it separately.  I made a
beautiful purple cooler from lightweight  fleece.

I've seen it happen. A woman bought a green pad and when she took her 
saddle off at the first vet check of a ride, her gray horse had a new 
color job!
