No snotty nose???

I had a horse get very swollen on the jowl / throatlatch area. I got very
worried, and took horse to vet, and they ran a scope down, to take a look.
Nothing. No temp., no other issues. A day or two later, they were fine.
Then, a month or so later, a different horse, same thing. Then, a day or two
later, the swelling went down. I finally figured out, after a few horses had
this happen, it was after I let them in the yard, and they ate leaves off
the fruitless Mulberry tree.  Just tossing that out for thought....
