Re: [RC] Plantar Fascitis/type of foot pain - Chris Paus

Yes, ouch! My chiro showed me how to wrap the foot with athletic tape. It really helps a bunch. You put that tape directly on the skin under your sock. You start with the tap on the top of the foot and wrap it around the outside towards the arch, and back up to the top.

Anyone out there ever have to deal with Plantar Fascitis? I have
gotten the arch supports, which are really helpful with my every
day shoes. The problem still is with riding, my arch doesn't have
any real support in the posting phase of the trot. I may end up
doing the ultrasound therapy, but would like some suggestions for
how to deal with this during riding. If you wrap, what is best,
and do you do it under or over the sock?

Thanks in advance,
Skyla and Tempo (Plantar what? Is it something to eat?)
