[RC] Favorite Rides in 2004 - tom noll

Greetings:

I thought that I would take an idea that I saw on another newsgroup and post my favorite rides in 2004:

Number 1 - Big Horn 100 - What can be said about this ride that hasn't already been mentioned -- 100 miles, great horse, great trail, great hosts, great crew.

Number 2 - Old Selam - Old Selam is a club ride held in the mountains above Idaho City.  We had new trails and it was a special, but wet, day.  I rode my wife's horse Max in his second 50.

Number 3 - High Valley - Another local ride on great trails in the Idaho mountains.  It was very wet and muddy and the ride hosts used a tractor to pull the rigs INTO the campsite.  Sometimes it took two tractors to pull the rigs out of the campsite.

Number 4 - Idaho Spuds - Leslie and I rode this one together.  Two years ago it was our first endurance ride and it is still a special ride for us in the Idaho mountains.  It was Max's first 50 and he finished in the top ten!

Number 5 - Costume day at Oreana - Even though it was wet, the costume ride is always special.

Let's hope that 2005 is even better!

Best Regards,
