FW: [RC] Overnight - Mike Sherrell

Would you mind describing the procedure for teaching the horses to picket --
I assume you mean to a picket pin, not a picket line. The line is easy for
the horse but difficult to set up in such a way as to give it access to
enough grass, whereas the pin can be set in the middle of grass.

Teach the horses to picket.   Picket both.  Or  picket one and hobble the
other, they will usually stay together.   Take turns with each.    Or tie
one, hobble the other.    If they are really bonded may not need to hobble
the "loose" one.   Never, or almost never,  have more than one loose at the
same time.
