Re: [RC] Feeding Questions - rides2far

This program states that horses are unable to digest
grain...period. To do so they said that any kind of
grain fed (oats, fax and of course BP) should be
soaked for up to 6-8 hours.

How can you give any credance to somebody who makes such an obviously
bazaar statement? I once bought a horse...actually traded a foundered
pony for a horse that the owner claimed could *only* have oats after
soaking 12 hours, and absolutely no sweet feed or he was crazy. Turned
out the lady was crazy. She was very happy to trade her "unloadable"
(took me 15 min) unridable (never a problem) horse to me. I sold him to a
vet who made an incredible dressage horse out of him. Now you've got me
picturing that woman giving nutritian seminars. >g<
