Yes, many of you are in a 'race', but do you really expect the sea to part just because you want to go fast? When I need to pass (which isn't all that often in AERC - in NATRC it was often), I always wait until the terrain allows, or will alert the rider ahead that I'd like to pass when trail conditions allow. I would never expect anyone to just get the heck out of the way because I was moving faster than they are.
