(LIke here is instant death for your horse.....)...." Relocation of pestiferous wild animals is of questionable value. Many relocated wild animals return to the area after relocation. Others die from the stress of being in an entirely new area and not knowing where their next meal or water stop is. I don't have evidence about small animals, but the Missoulian often carries stories about bears returning after relocation. Today it carried one about a problem Elk that they will not relocate for the above reasons. Perhaps the persons relocating problem animals to areas with no horses are taking them into city and suburban areas. I don't see how they could find areas in the country with no horses.
